Our CCTV business was established in 1986 and successfully supplied static CCTV to the domestic and business market.
In 1992 our technical expertise was utilised to develop and promote vehicle CCTV where growth in the transport sector continues today through the development of other technological transport solutions.

Our products are widely used on a daily basis by some of Europe’s largest transport operators who value the reliability and quality of the service and products that are delivered by 21st Century.
21st Century is the preferred supplier of on-board CCTV systems for Arriva UK Bus, Go-Ahead Group and other large fleet operators and has pioneered the use of wireless mobile CCTV systems in the UK. Transport for London commissioned the company to undertake a trial of ‘LiveView’ – a system which transmits live CCTV pictures from on board the bus to a public transport and police control centre. 21st Century was also the first company to successfully launch Automatic Video Downloads and mobile wireless CCTV monitoring which allows fleet managers to remotely download CCTV video from vehicles to PCs and provide a full status report of all CCTV systems. The company also supplies a successful overhead digital passenger counting device, known as PAS – Passenger Analysis System, which can link to on-board driver ID systems to analyse route specific ticket sales and passenger numbers.
