21st Century’s award winning fuel saving system EcoManager has proven that the massive initial savings seen shortly after installation are sustained well beyond the first year.
The extensive reports that EcoManager generates for each depot, bus and driver show that even after the first year, drivers are still achieving better fuel consumption than before EcoManager was fitted.
The average reduction in fuel use during the first year was just over 12%, with improvements continuing until the optimum had been reached and the absolute highest mpg was being achieved across the fleet. After the first year, the initial high savings are being maintained and there are clear signs that drivers have adopted a cleaner, greener driving style.
